Safety
Quite simply, we believe these are the purest personal care products
available anywhere worldwide.
More than this, all of the products (with three exceptions)* have been
formulated to be entirely free of all synthetic chemicals. In contrast to
many other companies promoting “natural” and “organic” products, if an
ingredient doesn’t come directly from a plant or mineral, ONE Group simply
does not use it.
* The three exceptions are the two shampoos, and the sunflower body wash,
which have a single synthetic molecule cocopolyglucose, produced from
coconut oil and corn starch. Cocopolyglucose is the safest foaming agent
available on the market and has only been used because at present there
are no 100% natural alternatives.
Consequently, over half of the products are fully certified organic to the
strictest international food standards by governing bodies such as the
USDA and ACO. This means that the products contain greater than 95% plant
material that has been grown organically, entirely free of pesticides and
other chemical contaminants. Products that are not fully certified organic
(<95%) fall below this level only because they contain greater than 5%
minerals such as clay, salt or baking soda.
So what does certified organic status mean in practice? It means that not
only are the products tested to be free of all the pollutants that Dr
Clark discusses, but that the entire range is also free from all of the
884 recognised toxins normally found in conventional personal care
products. Of these at least 146 are known carcinogens. |
